Help Lestat Beat FIP

Sweet Lestat has FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). This disease is fatal without treatment. Unfortunately, the treatment is very expensive. It will cost about $2000. But I have to try! If you can spare any amount towards the cost of his treatment I (and Lestat) will be forever greatful. My heart is breaking right now and the tears won’t stop. I will start treatment ASAP and keep everyone updated on his progress.

Luckily based on his symptoms and blood work it was caught early. His odds of survival with this treatment are high. 

This little guy is a fighter for sure. As a very young kitten he was diagnosed with panleukopenia which is nearly 100% fatal in small kittens. But with diligent care he survived and I know he can survive this as well! As long as I can afford to get the treatment he desperately needs. 

The photo of the syringe is some of the fluid from his abdomen. They actually pulled 80 cc total and that wasn’t all of it! It’s dangerous to pull all of it but this gave him some relief. 

I included a photo of the cost for the first 3 weeks of treatment.  He will need this treatment for 12 weeks. So, total cost for that will be about $1787. That doesn’t include the bloodwork from today or the the other costs such as needles, syringes, Gabapentin, and any follow up bloodwork.
