Help Leslie to buy an accesible van for Diego

Hi!

 

I am Leslie's friend María, and I am visiting her from Argentina. I am taking the initiative to start this fundraising for Leslie because Im seeing that she really needs it.

 

Diego, his son, is now 16.5 years old, and he just stopped walking, but with his big and strong spirit, he wants to have a fulfilling life and make sure that Duchenne Muscular Distrophy doesn't prevent him from living life. Diego's wheelchair is now becoming his legs 100% and he doesn't want the car to limit his ability to live and socialize.

 

Leslie is juggling with many things now that are expensive and difficult to solve. She has a sinkhole in her backyard; her car got stolen more than a month ago - they found it, but the repair is talking very long, and she is paying for a rental car. Just to mention the (used) accessible van costs ~70K 

 

I know this is not easy for Leslie, but this is not for her but Diego. He wants to have friends, be included, and have his legs (wheelchair) with him to live his life. His wheelchair now needs to go with him to all his medical appointments.
