Help Leslie Get Her Wings Back

On August 8th, 2018, while traveling through a hailstorm on Highway 24 between Calhan and Ramah Colorado, Leslie LaChapelle was in a head-on collision with another driver.
While the other driver was in a large pickup and escaped the accident without bodily harm, Leslie was not as lucky. She has a cut on her liver causing bleeding in her abdomen, which will heal itself thankfully. She has tremendous damage to her ankle and knee and will need multiple surgeries. Her right kidney unfortunately lost blood flow and she has severe bruises on her back. She faced a low heart rate during the first 24 hours due to a contusion on her heart, delaying her first surgery on her ankle 8/9/18.
She narrowly escaped the accident with her life. While she thankfully is still here with us, she has a very long recovery ahead of her. Many people know what type of woman Leslie is. All the best parts of her are why everyone loves her and is blessed to know her. For those of you that do not know her, she can best be described as an angel. We would like to help her get her wings back.
Leslie has made a career as a caregiver. She takes care of people's loved ones when they can't take care of themselves. It requires long hours, physical strength and immense amounts of compassion. This long road to recovery will require multiple surgeries, long stays in physical rehabilitation and many, many months away from work. She lives alone and is her sole source of income.
Her oldest son Ryan was also in an accident that very day on his way to meet her at the hospital when a driver pulled in front of him on Highway 24. He also survived his accident with only a small break in his ankle and a totalled truck. Her daughter Alicia has just began married life and a new job recently. And her youngest son Kyle has also recently started a new career and is his only source of income as well. While we are all trying to find ways to help pay her bills and rent while she is out of work, we know that it's going to be hard and our funds are limited.
That's why we're asking you all to help us find a way to help Leslie get her wings back. She's helped so many people in times of need that we feel it's ok to ask that if you're able to, please share this and/or donate so we can help her in the long months ahead.
