<div><span>Our friend Leonid, who was hanging out with us two weeks ago, had an unfortunate accident resulting in a serious spinal injury. As a result of the injury, he is unable to move his arms and legs. Leo underwent a complicated surgery, but additional financial resources are needed for his ongoing treatment in order to regain his ability to return to school and socialize with us.</span><br />

<div>Нашиот другар Леонид 18 год. летово, поточно во јули 2023 дружејќи се со нас во Грција на одмор доживеа несреќен случај со тешка повреда на рбетниот столб. Како резултат на повредата не може да ги движи рацете и нозете. Во Грција на Лео му беше извршена комплицирана операција која беше успешна. По два месеци беше префрлен во Скопје каде е сеуште на лекување. Неговата состојба е сеуше критична бидејќи не дише самостојно и бара соодветен третман, нега и медицинска грижа. Специјалистите во клиниката се едногласни дека нега за пациент како Лео мора да се бара надвор од државата.

<div>Неговте родители подолго време бараат содветна клиника и досега само две во Европа, една од Швајцариа и друга од Австрија, дале повратен одговор дека можат да го лекуваат. Но лекувањето во овие клиники е многу скапо. Семејството ги нема потребните средства за негово лекување, кое секојдневно чини многу.

Лео има посебна страст за информатика, компјутерот е негово секојдневие, заедно со неговиот тим изработија апликација што го анализира и проучува движењето на Меѓународната вселенска станица и со тоа го освоија првото место на меѓународниот натпревар „NASA Space Apps Challenge“.

<div>Miqtë tanë, Leo (18 vjeç) kishte një aksident këtë verë, në korrik 2023, ndërsa ishte me ne. Ai përjetoi një dëmtim të rëndë të shtyllës kurrizore. Si pasojë, ai nuk mund të lëvizë krahët dhe këmbët. Në Greqi, Leo iu nënshtrua një operacioni i vështirë. Pas dy muajsh, ai u transferua për trajtim në Shkup. Gjendja e tij është ende kritike pasi nuk mund të marrë frymë vetë dhe kërkon trajtim dhe kujdes mjekësor të duhur. Specialistët në klinikë janë të njëzëshëm se kujdesi për një pacient si Leo duhet të kërkohet jashtë shtetit.

<div>Prindërit e tij kanë kohë që kërkojnë një klinikë të përshtatshme dhe deri më tani janë vetëm dy në Evropë, një në Zvicër dhe një tjetër në Austri, janë përgjigjur se mund ta trajtojnë atë. Por trajtimi në këto klinika është shumë i shtrenjtë. Familja nuk ka mjete të nevojshme për trajtimin e tij (që gjithsesi kushton shumë çdo ditë).

<div>Notre ami Leonid (18 ans) a eu un accident cet été, en juillet 2023, alors qu'il nous accompagnait en vacances en Grèce. Il a subi une grave blessure à la colonne vertébrale. En conséquence, il ne peut plus bouger les bras et les jambes. Leo a subi une opération compliquée. Après deux mois il a pu être transféré pour continuer son traitement à Skopje. Sa condition est toujours critique car il ne peut pas respirer seul, nécessitant un traitement médical et des soins appropriés. Les spécialistes de la clinique sont unanimes sur le fait que les soins pour un patient comme Leo doivent être poursuivis à l'étranger.

<div>Ses parents recherchent depuis longtemps une clinique appropriée et jusqu'à présent, seules deux cliniques en Europe, l'une en Suisse et l'autre en Autriche ont répondu favorablement. Cependant, le traitement dans ces cliniques est très coûteux. La famille n'a pas les moyens nécessaires pour son traitement qui est déjà coûteux.

<div>En tant qu'amis de Leo, nous avons toujours été inspirés par sa nature positive et douce, son esprit sportif et ses réalisations. Leo a une passion particulière pour l'informatique. Son équipe et lui ont développés une application d'analyse et d'étude du mouvement de la Station spatiale internationale, remportant la première place lors du défi international NASA Space Apps.

<div>Unser Freund Leonid (18 Jahre alt) hatte im Juli diesen Sommer(2023), während einer Unternehmung mit uns einen Unfall mit einer schweren Rückenmarksverletzung. Aufgrund der Verletzung kann er seine Arme und Beine nicht bewegen. In Griechenland unterzog sich Leo einer komplizierten Operation. Nach zwei Monaten wurde er zur Behandlung nach Skopje verlegt. Sein Zustand ist immer noch kritisch, da er nicht selbstständig atmet und einer angemessenen Behandlung, Pflege und medizinische Versorgung benötigt. Die Spezialisten der Klinik sind sich einig, dass die Pflege eines Patienten wie Leo außerhalb des Staates (Mazedonien) erfolgen muss.

<div>Seine Eltern haben schon lange nach einer geeigneten Klinik gesucht und bisher haben nur zwei Kliniken aus Europa, eine aus der Schweiz und eine aus Österreich, positiv geantwortet, dass sie ihn behandeln können. Doch die Behandlung in diesen Kliniken ist sehr teuer. Für seine Behandlung (die ohnehin jeden Tag viel kostet) verfügt die Familie nicht über die nötigen Mittel.

<div>Als Leos Freunde waren wir immer von seiner positiven und barmherzigen Art, seinem Sportsgeist und seinen Leistungen inspiriert. Leo hat eine besondere Leidenschaft für Computer, weshalb er und sein Team eine App entwickelten, die die Bewegung der Internationalen Raumstation analysiert und untersucht, und er hat damit den ersten Platz bei der internationalen NASA Space Apps Challenge gewonnen.
