<div>My name is Leo Nocedo, and I'm a veteran living on Social Security disability. For years, I've been able to maintain my independence through having reliable transportation. Last week, everything changed when my vehicle's transmission failed completely.

<div>As someone who has always prided myself on being self-sufficient, this has been a difficult situation to face. The cost of repairing or replacing the transmission is simply beyond what I can afford on my fixed income. Without a vehicle, I'm now unable to get to medical appointments, handle everyday errands, or maintain the independence I've worked hard to preserve.
