<div>Earlier this week, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica — the strongest storm ever to hit the island. Many of our Lemon Press team members, along with countless others, have families whose homes and communities were devastated by the storm.

<div>Who we are:

<div>We are Lemon Press — a restaurant and community hub located on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. Our team is made up of incredible seasonal workers who come to Nantucket each year from around the world, including Jamaica.
</div>

<div>Where we’re from:
</div>
<div>Our year-round home is Nantucket, but many of our team members’ true homes are in Jamaica, where their families are now facing severe damage and loss due to Hurricane Melissa.
</div>

<div>Our relationship to those affected:

<div>Several members of our Lemon Press family have parents, children, and loved ones back home who have lost everything — roofs torn off, homes flooded, and communities without power or access to essentials. These are the people who help make Lemon Press what it is — the heart and soul of our team.

<div>How funds will be spent:
</div>
<div>All funds raised through this campaign will go directly to our affected team members and their families in Jamaica. We will work with them personally to ensure funds are used for immediate relief needs such as food, clean water, temporary shelter, and home repairs. Lemon Press will oversee all distributions to ensure full transparency and that every dollar goes directly to those in need.
