Help Leigh, Tana and the boys rebuild their dream

The Marriner's have received so much love and support over the past week that they have decided to shut down their Go Fund Me page.
A MASSIVE thank you for all the generous donations of goods, food and funds both on the Go Fund Me page and off. They are truly humbled by the amount of love and compassion shown by friends, family and strangers alike. A huge thank you to everyone for everything they have done for this beautiful family.
Like many other Families, Gidgegannup's - Leigh, Tana, Cooper and Nate have lost their home in the devastating Wooroloo Bushfire that has ravaged through the hills this week.
Tana hasn't been able to hold her husband Leigh since the fire came raging towards their home. Imagine for one second hearing you have lost your home and not being able to hold the people you love most to console each other through undoubtedly one of the most traumatic experiences of your life.
On Monday Leigh Marriner sent his wife Tana and their two boys away to safety once it was apparent there was no stopping this monstrous fire. Leigh then stayed to defend his community and his neighbours homes. When it was safe to do so he returned back to his home to find it alight, only to realise he didn't have enough water on board to save it. He had selflessly used all his water saving his neighbours homes and livestock.
This kind and generous act of helping his neighbours inevitably and devastatingly cost them their home. Leigh has since then worked tirelessly clearing roads of fallen trees and debris to ensure access ways are clear, hes saved wildlife and even neighbours homes as flare ups have tried to take hold in the wind.
Anyone who knows this beautiful family knows how much they love their block and their community. They would do anything for anyone and now they need your help.
This is whats left of their family home.
If you can spare a little it will make a BIG difference to this family. Although they are insured, the cost to rebuild and replace far exceeds what their insurance covers. Speaking to Leigh this morning... he's given his everything to their community. All he could ask for this morning was things to help save the wildlife... he truly puts everyone's needs before his own.
Your donations will be put towards restoring basic essentials to the block.
Not everything in their home can be replaced. Wedding photos, sentimental family heirlooms are gone, but maybe we can help them start to get their life back.

This page has been started by me, Peta Tuckett. I am a childhood friend of Tana's. I say friends but we are far more like sisters than friends. Tana and the boys have been here with us since they evacuated. We have always been together through all of life's ups and downs and I really need your help to help them.
