Help Leigh recover from Florence

My mom, Leigh, was on her way to a new chapter in her life. She was weeks away from marrying her amazing fiance, setting off on a week-long honeymoon, and building a new home. Unfortunately,  hurricane Florence was unforgiving on our home (that is currently up for sale). The financial stress of repairing a home that is now deemed, unsellable is something no bride should have to carry. Because our home is not in a flood zone, we were in no way prepared for this type of destruction. This tragedy is preventing my mom from moving to a new chapter in her life. 

My mom is one of the most selfless, caring people in this community. She has given countless time and money to local charities over the past couple of decades. She wakes up every morning with the determination to help others and spread positivity to everyone she meets. She is not one to ever ask for help, but in a situation like this, I cannot sit back and watch my mom struggle like this. I know that everyone is struggling right now in the aftermath of this storm, but if you can give anything at all to ease my mom's trauma of losing her home (that she built by herself, how awesome is she?!?!) I know that she and I would appreciate it a ton.  

The house was one of the few in the Scotts Hill area that were flooded (Story covered on the news).
