Help Leen and the children of Gaza

Dear friends from all over the world. I don't need to make you aware of all the chaos going on in Gaza. While Israel took away the rights from UNRWA, which has more 13.000 active Palestine members, the situation even got worse. The locals are doing whatever they can to help each other. They united to one front and I'm asking you to be a part of that front. While men, women en children are afraid of their lifes on a daily base, we are sitting here, watching and feeling hopeless because we don't know how to help. Thats why i want to introduce you to my friend Leen. She wrote down her story for you. The money donated is for her to help people in Gaza. Every penny that you give is a penny that will be send there. For the children, for the mothers, for the ones who are in pain and hunger.

Let me first tell you something about myself. My name is Benny and I live in Maastricht, the most South city of the Netherlands. My friend Cindy helped me create this fundraising campaign. For more then seven years I financially supported several familys in Gaza. Altough the living situation there even then was not as they wished, they had a lot of happy moments and felt way more safe than they do now. They are NOT living anymore, they are SURVIVING. Every night I talk to them, without knowing whether they're gonna wake up in the morning. This leaves me with tears, which softly run over my cheek when we hang up the phone. Leen is such a strong, kind-hearted spirit. Who even worrys about me and you. They are my family and I know there are a lot of brothers and sisters out there as well. So please help us raise money for the survivors in Gaza. If you have no money to give, please share our story. Every minute, every moment we make more people awake, we share love, prayers and awareness. And love is essential. But not more essential than water, food and medication.

Here is the Story of Leen

Hello my friends, brothers and sisters from all over the world. I am Leen Abu Hamman. I was born and raised in Gaza. I currently live at the Al Mawasi camp, where I have been working for over a year now. My mom and dad raised me to become the strong, kind-loving woman I am today. Unfortunaly, I lost my dad who was a Doctor, just like me and my husband, in November 2023 due to the ongoing war. After hearing this news, my heart almost stopped. But it didn't end there. My husband was taken by Israely forces. I lost my onborn child, after trying to get pregnant for 4 years, because of the psycological stress caused by the war and the losses. My mom and sister got injured when a house nearby was bommed on 2.4.2024. My beloved friends from all over the world raised money for us to flee Gaza. With their help I managed to get my mom and sister over the boarder to Egypte. The day before I was going to join them, Rafah was captivated by Israël and it became impossible for me to leave. So now I am still here. Helping others, praying for a change. Trusting and hoping in the kindness of people to read, pause, and feel my story. Because this time, I'm also in need of help. That's why I share this very personal story with you.

I wake up because of the bombings, people screaming. Everything around me is gray, it's cold and we are hungry. In the glimps of an eye I see the hurt around me. The fear in the eyes of the children, the elder, every living soul in this place is hurting. I try to help where I can, but it's not enough. It will never be enough. But I can't look away. If I only save someone.. Just one more. I hope there are more people like me, who try to do good, spread love and light, even when everything around them seems dark..
If you want to get to know me better, here's some more info about me. I am no number, I am a human being with feelings and rights!! Painfully that last word doesn't count for me anymore..

This is the text writen for the gofundme that helped my mom and sister to Egypt :

I worked as a doctor in a hospital in Gaza. My life was beautiful, calm, stable, and meaningfull. It was also full of achievements and successes. The most important achievements I have reached for myself and my beloved ones are: Following the footsteps of my father by becoming a doctor. Marrying the man of my life, who is also a doctor and such a caring human being. I live for helping people, saving the sick, and putting a smile on the faces from them and their families. I'm also the wife of one of the doctors in Gaza , Mohammad Abu Hammad who was taken by Isrealy forces. We had been waiting for our first child for 4 years. On this particular day, 7 July 2023, we received very happy news about my pregnancy , but our joy was at short notice. Three months after this news, on October 7 2023, our lives were turned upside down. Suddenly and without any introduction or warning! We are residents of the north , specifically the sands. After a period of aggression and forced displacement, my family and I were forced to move from the north to the south, and after a few days I received the news that my house had been completely destroyed without any mercy. Two months after the beginning of the war , I lost my first child while he was in my womb due to psychological stress and the fear and panic we were experiencing. I received the news of my husband’s arrest, the same day while I was at the hospital. I almost lost my mind. My life is shattered. My psychological state is really devastating my friends. After a while, I received the news of my father’s martyrdom. Indeed, after hearing this news, my heart almost stopped, but this is Allah's command. It didn't end here, either on the date of : 2. 4. 2024 a house nearby was bombed. My mother and sister were injured as a result of this bombing, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment. This is my painful story. Please my friend, help me save my life and the lifes of my family. Your help and generosity will make me move forward towards safety and survival. Every donation has a double impact on my life. Don't ignore me. Every donation, no matter how small, my thank you is great because this will make a difference in our lives. We need all of you . Help me get out of Gaza and away from danger. I have great hope in you and your kind hearts , I love you all , My sincere respect and appreciation to everyone ♥️
