What's the situation?
I need some serious dental work. My wisdom teeth are severely impacted and I have a couple cavities that need filling. And even though the dental work is routine, it's so prohibitively expensive. I've already looked into the most widely accepted financing option for dental work (Care Credit) and they rejected me. The pain and danger to my health increases the longer I go without care.
Why is this necessary?
Without treatment, the trapped teeth can cause permanent damage to the surrounding bones in my jaw or cause an infection that can spread throughout my body and affect multiple organ systems. My teeth and jaw hurt a lot, and it's a really frightening because I don't want to risk a chronic infection during a pandemic. I’m terrified of having permanent damage that would be preventable if I had the money for care. I am a full time student and unemployed, I can’t pay $4000 for care on my own and certainly not without a payment plan option.
How can I help?
Times are incredibly rough right now. But if I can get this dental work, I'll be able to bounce back when the situation improves without permanent damage to my body. Please show out if you can, it would mean so much to me. I’m at my wits end and don’t know what to do anymore besides reach out for help.
