Help lay Tori to rest

Donation protected
Tori was a bright and beautiful 19 year old who was just starting out her life. Tori grew up in southern Oregon about a year ago she fell in with the wrong crowd of people and started using herion. She stopped coming around her family to hide her addiction from them. Her mother and father caught on to what was happening and made a plan to help her. They took all the money they had saved and checked her into a treatment detox center in Eugene, OR, where she stayed for a week and a half. After her release her parents didn’t want her to go back to the Medford/Grants Pass area so they packed up their trailer and their 5 kids including Tori and moved to Carnation, WA over night. Tori got right into counseling, started attending NA meetings, got a job, and started attending college to go into the medical field. Tori was clean for a few months when she started hanging out with the wrong people again and ended up relapsing. Her parents saw the signs and acted quickly. Tori told them that it was a mistake, that it’d never happen again, and she’d work harder on keeping her sobriety. Tori started getting better grades in school and had even received a promotion to be a manager at her work. Everyone was happy and excited to spend Christmas together as a family for the first time in 2 years. On Friday December 22nd 2017 around 7:15am Belinda and Andrew received a call that no parent is prepared to get, the person on the other end was calling to say that their baby girl was dead. She had over dosed on herion. As their hearts were breaking Belinda and Andrew rushed to see Tori one last time before they took her body away. They hugged her, kissed her forehead, and told her how much they love her. No parent should have to loose a child! Drug addiction is hard to over come, it’s a constant battle to stay sober. Thousands of people over dose on drugs every day. Tori’s parents wanted to share her story in hopes of helping someone else struggling with addiction or a family member of an addict. The point of this go fund me is to bring tori home. Almost all of her family live in the Medford/grants pass area and it’s where her parents want to have her celebration of life and lay her to rest but they do not have the funds to do so yet so they are reaching out for help. Anything is appreciated even if you just share it. Rest easy baby girl. You are missed so much!
