LaDarrius, lovingly known as DBaby, was my little cousin and nephew. He was a bright light in our family, always bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. Tragically, his life was cut short due to senseless gun violence, leaving our family and his friends heartbroken and searching for answers. No parent should ever have to lay their child to rest, especially under such painful circumstances.

We are coming together as a family to honor LaDarrius’s memory and give him the farewell he deserves. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and provide much-needed support for his loved ones as we navigate this unimaginable loss. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time and allow us to focus on healing and remembering the beautiful soul that DBaby was.

On behalf of my cousin/sister Kim Simmons, we are asking for your support, love, and prayers. Anything you can do—whether it’s a donation, a kind word, or simply sharing this fundraiser—means the world to us. We are grateful for every gesture of kindness and every prayer lifted for our family. Let’s come together and paint the city red for DBaby. Forever16.
