Josiah Brackens’ life was cut short far too soon. He was a tough, loving boy who meant the world to his family and friends. Josiah’s journey was marked by resilience—when he was just two years old, he survived a devastating house fire that took the life of his older brother, Johnathan. Josiah spent two weeks sedated in the hospital, and his strength during that time inspired everyone who knew him. Now, at just 13 years old, Josiah has joined his brother in heaven, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved him.

 As Josiah’s mother, I am facing the unimaginable pain of losing another son. Day by day, I struggle to make ends meet for myself and my family. I recently started a life insurance policy, but it was too late to help with Josiah’s burial expenses. With no financial support to cover these costs, I am reaching out to my community for help during this incredibly difficult time.
