On March 16, 2022, Gary Bowers Sr. sadly passed away after a long and hard fight, and God gained an angel six days before his 73rd birthday.

My name is Shanna and I am the oldest of Gary's two children. My Dad spent many years fighting his health battles, always staying strong and never giving up. In the year 2000 we were told he had six months to live but he fought unimaginably hard and our family was blessed with another 22 years before the Lord finally called him home. Any and all courage, strength, determination, and fearlessness, that I and my three children, and Gary Jr. and his three children have came from this amazing father and grandfather.

My Dad's wishes have always been to be cremated after his passing. My Mom, who has lost her husband of 42 years, and my family are praying and asking for any help we can possibly receive to lay our patriarch to rest.
