Help lay baby Nolan to Rest.

On December 20th, 2017, my daughter Meaghan and her boyfriend Nick were excited to be going to a routine ultrasound to check the anatomy of their little boy due in May. The baby was measuring small, so she was sent for a more in-depth, level 3 ultrasound on the 21st. That ultrasound uncovered more concerns and resulted in an amniocentesis the same day, to hopefully get to the bottom of what was going on with little Nolan. Then we just had to wait the agonizing 2 weeks, over the holidays, to find out if the amnio produced any results.
On Friday, January 5th, 2018, Meaghan got the phone call, with devastating news. Little Nolan has deletions in his 4th and 16th chromosomes. The deletion in his 4th chromosome is significant. Nolan has Wolf-Hirshhorn Syndrome. The prognosis with Wolf-Hirshhorn is very bleak, and left Meaghan and Nick with a very difficult decision to make.
On Monday, January 8th, little Nolan no longer had a heartbeat. The burden of making the decision was taken off of Meaghan and Nick's shoulders, but the heartache has set in very deep, and now they have to figure out how to give their little boy a proper burial.
Meaghan will be scheduled to give birth to Nolan later this week, and then Meaghan and Nick would like to lay their baby to rest. They are a young couple doing an amazing job raising their beautiful little boy, Owen. Nick works hard to take care of them while Meaghan goes to school. Their resources are limited, but I see so much love and support around them that I know if there were a way for everyone to help out, even if just a little, they will be able to lay Nolan to rest properly.
I know in my heart that my daughter and Nick need to be able to lay their baby to rest in a way that shows that he had significance in their lives. He was a very wanted baby, and their hearts are so very broken. Please consider helping them make this happen.
