<div>Unfortunately, Lauren's cancer has continued to grow and spread. Combined with other recent complications in her gut, she's been in significant constant pain. She is on treatment option number 4 and preparing for an intimidating option number 5 in the next two months called CAR-T cell therapy. We continue to pray and ask for your prayers that her body will be strong, her cancer will respond to treatments, and her pain will decrease. She has felt the love and support from everyone and is so grateful for each of you!

<div>Lauren was diagnosed with a stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, PTLD, in July 2025, making this her sixth cancer diagnosis. So many of you have asked what you can do to help during this time so we’ve put together this Go Fund Me as a way for all who would like to support her.

<div>If you don’t know Lauren’s full story, she has had three heart transplants, which means she is immunocompromised in order to ensure her body doesn’t attack her heart. As a result, one potential complication is the development of a specific type of cancer called PTLD, which she has previously battled five times.

<div>Over the past month, Lauren has received immunotherapy treatment for the cancer that initially seemed promising. There were high hopes that the cancer would decrease, but her most recent scans showed the cancer has both grown and spread. She started a full 12-week chemotherapy regimen in early September.

<div>Although Lauren has great insurance coverage, cancer comes with many hidden costs. These include not being able to work, as well as the cost of good quality wigs to help her feel confident while she endures chemotherapy. There are also prescription co-pays, gas money as she goes to and from the hospital, and even things like sweaters large enough to cover her PICC line.
