<div>My name is Lauren, and I am the mother of 3 children. I wasn’t able to work for a long time because of my agoraphobia, PTSD, and also because I am on the Autism spectrum. But a few months ago, I started looking for a job. To my surprise, I was hired for a great opportunity. It was a completely remote job, working from home. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to land this job. But less than 2 months later, today I was told my position was no longer in the budget and was being eliminated. <strong>I can’t believe this happened.</strong> My financial situation was already dire. I’ve had to use any means necessary to survive, and now I’m at the bottom of a deep hole. I have credit card debt and unsecured loans debt. I was barely getting by with a paycheck—having to pay back loans and also pay my regular bills. I was just trying to get caught up when the devastating news of my layoff happened. I have sold things I never thought I would let go of, including my mother’s jewelry. But it only helped a little bit.

<div><strong>I hate asking for help. But I need to keep a roof over my kids' heads.</strong> I need to be able to feed them and keep the power on. I don’t know what else to do. I have no close family to turn to. Any amount given would be of tremendous help to me. I am so sad and sorry to have gotten to this point. And I would be eternally grateful to those who donate.
