Dear Santa & his helpers,

Hi, I’m Laurel and I’m a 36-year-old “almost” published author and single Mama. During the past year, I have experienced one of the most challenging years of my life; being laid off and unemployed for 7 months, my residential building being condemned, and most recently the loss of my truck due to a massive repair cost.

I am setting aside my pride in setting this page up, but as someone who never asks for help, I could really use it. I know everyone else is going through tough times, so even a little prayer would help during this time. I’m currently working my booty off to catch up on my falling behind on bills and repairs on my truck.

The money donated would go directly to vehicle repairs, Christmas gifts for my 7 and 10-year-old, and thrifted furniture for our new place. I hope to be back on my feet fully in no time and am trusting in the universe’s plan for me.
