Help Laura While She Waits 4 Lungs

I was at work when my big sister called me and left a voicemail saying they found something on her lungs, and something was wrong. I promptly threw up in the garbage can at Chinook Mall. Laura has been through hell for almost two years, and continues to go through it. She has two unique lung diseases, and an autoimmune disease. (Unique is a friendly word, until used to describe your serious illness). In the last six months Laura has been forced to quit her job. Barely making it through daily life made it impossible to continue in her beloved dental receptionist position at Discovery Dental. She has been on multiple medications to help her maintain her serious pain while she awaits her double lung transplant, which cost well over $500 per month, even with our wonderful health care system. Laura has applied for “Severely Handicapped Pay” through the government but is still waiting for approval to receive her cheque that will barely cover monthly rent. We are asking anyone who is able to, to donate toward Laura’s many expenses she is struggling to keep on top of. If you are unable to donate, please share, and PLEASE be put on the donor list.
