A Beautiful person loved by many RIP Laura

My darling wife Laura has been diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer . Inspired by her courage, commitment and the huge challenge ahead, I am reaching out to everyone we know and also seeking the generosity of strangers to help her with this fight.

Laura is only 47 years old. She is a wife to John, mother of Olivia (14) Bertie, Sam, Sebastian and daughter to Bill and Virginia, but most importantly she is an amazing person and friend to everyone she meets. Laura has recently moved to Sussex County NJ after living most of her life around Annapolis MD. Over the years she has played a significant role in her community. She has always been a very active volunteer at local schools and churches as well as many other organizations. Together we can return some of her dedication, caring and kindness by paying it forward.

Laura's courage and strength  was clear for everyone to see after my devastating heart attack in the summer of 2016. She was my rock who helped me through what was a very difficult time. Subsequently me having to take a year off work did not phase her in the least. Laura stood by me steadfast a strong and helped me stay focused on my own challenges and weaknesses.

Laura's own fight has now just begun, it all started about 12 weeks ago in February 2019 with mysterious pains in her back. After many visits to a local chiropractor she was getting steadily worse. A couple of weeks ago Laura went to the emergency room where she had tests and x-ray's but was sent home with no diagnoses. After another week of imminence debilitating pain, Laura visited a sports medicine specialist for more tests and they advised an MRI of her spine was probably the best course of action. The next day Laura received a phone call with the results of the MRI which showed not only some herniated disks in her back, but also by chance the doctor noticed some abnormality in her liver. She was then immediately that same day booked into the local medical center for an urgent  a CT scan. The results of the CT scan showed lesions on the liver and a mass surrounding the pancreas. Her doctor said "It looks like cancer.” subsequent biopsy's just last week have confirmed a diagnoses of Stage IV pancreatic cancer which has already metastasized into her liver.

So Laura has just begun her journey for the fight for her life on April  10th she will start on chemo treatment, only God knows the outcome and those of you who know Laura will agree she will place all of her trust in the almighty.  Foremost, Laura is a great human being, she is a community servant and has proved time and time over that she is willing to go above and beyond to help people.   Now Laura could use our help to battle through cancer.  Any donation at all would help her continue to focus on a speedy recovery and not have to worry about day to day expenses around her health and financial responsibilities.

At this point in her (our) journey we need help, we need your prayers and we need your support. Please help us raise money to ease the additional expenses this disease is putting on her family and help us provide funds for the fight to come.

Thank You, I only ask you please share this with everyone you know
