<div>Hi everyone, my name is Laura, and I recently welcomed my third — and last — baby in December 2024. What should have been a time of joy and healing has turned into one of the hardest seasons of my life.

<div>After delivery, I experienced delayed postpartum hemorrhaging that led to months of complications. In March 2025, I had my tubes removed, but the bleeding never stopped. My doctor now says I need a hysterectomy to protect my health and quality of life.
</div>

<div>Because I’m not yet at the age for menopause, I first need a uterine biopsy to rule out anything cancerous. Insurance requires the $1,500 cost to be paid in full two weeks before the procedure — and that’s before the hysterectomy and recovery costs begin.

<div>These past months have been physically draining, emotionally exhausting, and financially overwhelming. The recovery will keep me out of work for at least six weeks, and I’ll still need daycare since I won’t be able to lift or care for my little one on my own.
</div>

<div>I’ll be honest — I absolutely hate asking for help. It’s not easy for me to do this. But right now, I truly need it.

<div>I’m hoping to raise $1,500 to cover the biopsy, and ideally up to $3,000 to help with additional medical and childcare expenses while I recover.
