Help Laura Focus on Recovery

On Thursday, May 2 our friend and beloved nanny to our daughter, Laura Tufino, collapsed in pain and was rushed to hospital. Within a few hours they discovered that her abdomen was full of blood due to a ruptured spleen. Thankfully, the bleed was located and, even though she lost 3 liters of blood internally, her spleen was removed and she is expected to make a full recovery. If her transport to hospital had happened 1 hour later, the doctors say she would have died.
Still, the road to recovery will be a tough one and could take as long as 3 months. Needless to say, Laura will be unable to work during this time and as the primary provider for her 4 children, we want her to be able to focus on fully recovering and not worry about money.
Any help to support her during this difficult time will be incredibly appreciated .
El jueves 2 de mayo, nuestra amiga y amada niñera de nuestra hija, Laura Tufino, se desmayó de dolor y fue trasladada de urgencia al hospital. En pocas horas, descubrieron que su abdomen estaba lleno de sangre debido a la ruptura del bazo. Afortunadamente, se localizó la hemorragia y, aunque perdió 3 litros de sangre internamente, le extirparon el bazo y se espera que se recupere completamente. Si su transporte al hospital hubiera ocurrido 1 hora después, los médicos dicen que ella habría muerto.
Aún así, el camino hacia la recuperación será difícil y Laura no podrá trabajar por un mes. Como proveedor principal de sus 4 hijos, queremos que ella pueda enfocarse en recuperarse por completo y no preocuparse por el dinero.
