Help Laura and Andrew get a New Home

Donation protected
On January 11, 2021 Andrew and Laura were both at work and Kona was likely napping away. They both received an emergency text that their home, their nest during this past year, was on fire.

A passerby saw the flames and thankfully called for help. The downstairs neighbor broke thru the gate (Thank you, Jim) to save Kona and everyone is safe.

After an already tough year with health challenges, and being on the frontlines as a nurse at Spectrum, their safe home unfortunately took the brunt of the fire. They have lost almost everything in the rubble, with the exception of a squeaky pig that Kona loves. Sampson's ashes survived along with his paw print and photo. While things can be replaced, losing your home amidst a pandemic and years of sentiments is heartbreaking.

They are in immediate need of items such as clothing, toiletries, technology, and pet supplies, etc. while they seek a new place to call home during this already challenging time. While they will likely have some support from insurance they will still likely take a large loss from the fire.

Thank you for supporting them during this time.
