I am not the kind to seek help. In fact, I've always been the guy everyone else relied on for help of any kind.
All that changed 3 years ago when botched back surgeries led to a horrible infection that nearly took my life and my leg, and that brought on a resurgence in the Polio that I'd contracted and suffered as an infant.
At the same time I was fighting for my life, I was unjustly sued by an evil corp-oration that robbed my family of almost all of our income.
I was innocent and inevitably, a year and a half later, after great loss and expense to my family, we prevailed in Federal Court. But to get there we'd used our savings and sold everything we could, and it left us flat busted. Still, we built the business back up again.
Now, because of the nature of this debilitating nerve disease of Post Polio, and mostly due to the climate here in Minnesota, my overall health has deteriorated to where I can no longer be relied on to do shows. It's the LOW barometric pressure that does it to me. I feel much healthier the further the pressure is above 30in.
I have so much left to give the World, and I do everything I can to keep as healthy as possible, but I hate to admit it, I am losing the war with this #!%&! Polio because of the low Barometric Pressure here where I've always lived.
My only hope for better health is to move to a climate with higher Barometric Pressures which translates to South... Arizona New Mexico, Texas, etc...
That means I have to leave everyone that I Love behind, including my dear sweet wife Sandy, who will keep the Karaoke shows going and be taking care of her elderly parents.
But I need help and I need it soon. I hate to ask anybody for help. I expect to remain as self reliant as possible with a meager SS income. So I recently bought a 30 year old RV to live in while down South, using every penny we had to buy it. I expected to be on the road before the teeth of winter bit, and I might have, except I was ripped off by an RV repair facility, leaving my RV stranded with nothing fixed and a huge fuel leak that might've killed me had I not discovered it.
Now I need to raise somewhere around $2,000 to get the RV repaired and a reasonable bit more, $500 to get me on the road to hopefully, renewed health.
I have a chance to meet up with a support group of people who dwell in similar circumstances near Quartzite Arizona in January.
If you decide to help me, I will be forever grateful, and I promise to use every day and every opportunity to pay the kindness that you shared with me forward.
