Help Larry Woods, Sr. meet his medical expenses

Several days after recovering from Covid on December 16,  Larry Woods, Sr. suffered a major stroke and was transferred to Jackson where he is in intensive care.  He has had surgery to remove a large clot on his brain and  another surgery to insert a filter in his leg so that the clot in his leg won't move.   He also has a small clot in his lung.

Larry can respond with his eyes and his right-hand fingers.  He understands what is being said, although he cannot speak to respond.  He has no movement on his left side.  It is too early to tell what of these symptoms are permanent, but Larry is aware and eager to come home.

Needless to say, his medical bills will be significant, and once home, he will need equipment such as a wheelchair, a wheelchair ramp to be built onto his house and home healthcare to assist in his day-to-day care.  He will also need vocational therapy to help him learn to live with his disability.

We are asking our friends and others to please help Larry make this transition as easy as possible.   We love him.  He's always been a talker and would do anything to help anyone.  Larry is a faithful child of God, and has always been active in his church, willing to help anyone in need.  He is a valued member of our community, and any amount you can donate would be most appreciated.
