Hi, my name is Jane and I am fundraising for my good friend Lisa whose son has cerebral palsy. Here is his story….

Meet Landon, a sweet, resilient, and brave young boy who lives with cerebral palsy. While Landon’s smile lights up any room, he faces daily challenges that many of us can't even imagine. Cerebral palsy affects his muscle control, and Landon uses a wheelchair to help him navigate the world.

As Landon continues to grow, so does the need for a more accessible and reliable way for him and his family to get around. Currently, the family’s vehicle is no longer able to accommodate Landon’s wheelchair in a safe and comfortable way. It’s not just about convenience — it’s about making sure Landon can live his life to the fullest and get the care he needs without unnecessary obstacles.

To meet these needs, we’re raising funds to purchase a new Kia Carnival and have it modified to be fully wheelchair accessible. This van will allow Landon to travel comfortably, go to appointments, enjoy family outings, and just be a kid, all while ensuring that his medical equipment is safely transported.

Why This Is Important:

Currently, Landon’s family is forced to rely on a vehicle that is not equipped to safely transport his wheelchair. This not only makes trips to appointments difficult, but also limits Landon’s access to the outside world. He deserves to be able to participate in family outings, attend therapy sessions without stress, and enjoy life like any other child.

The cost of purchasing and modifying a vehicle for wheelchair accessibility is substantial, totaling around $80,000. We’re turning to our community, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help make this dream a reality for Landon.
