Help lab rescue beagle Colette beat cancer

Last week, my family found out that our dog, Colette has cancer, and would need emergency surgery to remove her spleen. Back in 2015, we rescued her from Happy Paws Rescue, a non-profit organization that saves beagles who have been used in animal testing to give them new homes and a better life, and to save them from being euthanized. She still has the tattoo markings with her identification number inside her ears.
Other than the cancer diagnosis, her behavior and demeanor haven't changed. She's still the same upbeat puppy as she was ten years ago, which is why we didn't suspect she had a large tumor until a recent vet appointment.
Please consider donating and sharing this post broadly with your social networks to help my family cover the expensive cost of her emergency surgery, and additional treatments moving forward as we navigate her condition and give her the best life. We were denied any form of pet insurance because they claimed that all of her medical conditions are “preexisting” as a lab-tested animal.
Anything helps and is tremendously appreciated ♥️
