<div>Greetings all, my name is Kyle and I have made fundraisers for others before, but never for myself. I have however found myself in a situation that no amount of preparation and planning is able to fully get me out of. I need help. If you have a moment to read or a few dollars to help, it would mean the world to me. I refuse to use the AI guilt-trip setting to help write this, this is all from me.

<div>Cutting to the chase, my car engine went out and needed to be completely replaced, and I still owe on the car and it is not covered by warranty. The last few months have already been extremely difficult, I have lost both grandparents, our family dog and I am still processing through that, but this mechanical failure was the cherry on top.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It apparently stemmed from an existing oil issue when I bought the car that resulted in the rods inside completely deteriorating, but the dealer had me sign as "as-is" waiver. At the time, I did prepare for that possibility and purchased a drive train warranty that WOULD have covered it, however it expired 15k miles before the engine went out. Figures. I also found out that my brake pads and rotors were so bad that they needed to be replaced also or they could actually cause me to crash. I looked around for the best cost to repair, ended up going with a shop owned by a family acquaintance and it cost over $8600. I do not have this. I did not have this. I also still owed $3500 on the car itself and I needed to get to work or I could lose my job.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I had credit cards, all at $0 (I pride myself on typically being very responsible with my finances). Credit cards cannot be used to pay a car loan, but they could be used to pay the repairs. So I begrudgingly paid it (they wanted half up front before they could even order the engine), hoping and praying I could consolidate it into a loan with lower interest than the cards have. So my car is now repaired and my job is safe, but the interest on the credit cards is eating me alive, and I got denied the loan because of how much balance is on the cards now. I also had to buy ubers for days while I figured this out, as I do not have any local friends and family that could have given me a ride. Eventually after a week or so I found a coworker willing to give me a ride until the repairs were done.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have restructured my finances, switched phone and internet providers to cheaper plans, slimmed down my grocery bills, and have no current savings. Nothing I do is allowing enough disposable income to pay more than the minimum balance, which is immediately eaten by interest every month, so I'm getting nowhere. The monthly interest is double the payment I can make.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I need to pay these credit cards off, and I cannot do it alone. I'm scrounging for side income, and it's slightly helping, but not enough to actually make a difference, only keep me barely, barely afloat another month.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have attached pictures of the receipts (just the itemized part, the top has personal info) and the repaired engine, as I have no wish to mislead anyone, and I did attempt to do without making a fundraiser, but it's become abundantly clear to me that I am not able to get out of this mess without help. Paying off the repairs, ubers and interests are all it's used for. If anyone is able to help, or to share this, I would be immensely grateful. Thank you.
