<div>Our beloved friend Kyle, husband to Nubia, father to Bella and Matt, and Grandfather to baby Dakota is in dire need of support. Kyle fell in early June and thought he injured his back, he thought he pulled a muscle or slipped a disc. The pain persisted and intensified so he went to the Emergency room. After a CT scan was performed a large mass was found attached to his spine.  Scans and tests revealed that Kyle has multiple tumors. A biopsy from a tumor in his lung determined a diagnosis of Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Lungs that has metastasized into his spine.

<div>To say this came as a devastating shock is an understatement, especially since Kyle is only 46 years old. Kyle began treatment immediately at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Hospital in downtown Phoenix. At this point the tumor is inoperable and Kyle is undergoing aggressive treatment to shrink the tumor. After a month long stay in the hospital Kyle is final home! Since Klye has been home Nubia and Kyle have found numerous things around the house that need to be made accessible for his needs as he has limited mobility from the tumor on his spine. These expenses are not covered by insurance. Kyle is undergoing radiation of the spine and chemotherapy and has multiple appointments a week. In addition to modifying their home for Kyle’smedical needs during treatment Nubia and Kyle are in need of reliable transportation that can accommodate a wheelchair to get him safely and comfortably to appointments.
