Help Kristy Recover: Massive Fire Claims Apartment

On Wednesday April 7, 2021 in the afternoon my twin sister, Kristy Holmes, lost everything in a massive 4-alarm apartment fire in Princeton Junction, NJ. She was working from home and in the middle of a video meeting when the fire broke out on the second floor. She was able to safely escape her third-floor unit as alarms were sounding, smoke was filling the building, and firefighters were advancing up the stairs. The fire took almost 3 hours and 200 responders to extinguish. When the flames were tamed and the smoke cleared, it became evident that nothing was spared. The roof of the building caved in utterly destroying all the units and the contents on the 3rd floor.

The building and fire inspection are still ongoing, and no residents have been allowed back in. Given these dynamics, it will be some time until any insurance claim can be settled to begin anew.

If you know anything about Kristy, you know she has a generous heart and is always the first to want to help and give to those in need and the last to ask for help. Therefore, I am hoping we can band together to lift her up with support and help bridge the gap to recovery.

We are exceedingly grateful Kristy was able to exit in time and that she is safe and well! Her positive attitude continues to shine through, even amidst this devastating event.
