Help Kristin and Edward Rebuild After Eaton Fire

Our friends and customers Kristin, Edward and their 4.5 year-old son Dane lost their home in East Pasadena during the Eaton fire.

From Kristin: We were in East Pasadena across the street from Eaton Canyon Nature Trail where the fire began. Nearly our entire community was leveled. We will miss our neighbors and neighborhood the most. So many memories of our kiddos playing in the streets, Dane hitting baseball into our neighbors driveways, holiday get togethers and Christmas decoration contests. We mourn that loss the most. This was the home we brought Dane home to, we changed his diapers in a funny little built-in ledge in his room. I will miss the peace, even the excessive peacock noises. This was our first home.

My name is Samira, I am the owner of Dakota + Rowan in Sierra Madre. Kristin and Eddie have been such big supporters of ours over the last couple of years. Moreover, Kristin has been a friend, someone to lean on - always checking in and sending her light our way. I have set up this fundraiser with the permission of Kristin Rooney-Nguyen. Her family will use these funds to help cover disaster-related expenses exceeded by federal aid allowances.
