I am trying to help out my cousin Kristen who is only 29 years old who need our prayers and financial assistance. Here are her own words,
"The past few years have been challenging, but the most difficult one came last July 2023. I was in Cebu with my Titas when I felt a sudden pain in my stomach. Since I was very active in physical activities back then, I thought it was just normal.
I was following my own diet plan and had lost a lot of weight. The exhaustion and fatigue seemed expected as I juggled my vacation and night shift job.
When we got back to Manila, the pain in my stomach didn’t go away.
I thought it was only dysmenorrhea. A few days later, I got a fever. For the first time in my life, I found myself rushing to the hospital.
After numerous tests, they found something unusual on my CT scan. A colonoscopy confirmed it—I had multiple lumps in my abdomen. I had to undergo major surgery, and they removed 24 lumps, one of which was 19 inches long. It was confirmed: colon cancer, stage 3A.
I never had the chance to undergo chemotherapy. Honestly, I was terrified. The stress, the pain, and everything else overwhelmed me. I accepted my fate. I told myself, “Whatever happens, it’s meant to be.”
Only a few people knew about this—my parents, and my aunties.
But life has its way of changing things. My family, and my newfound friends have given me a renewed sense of purpose.
I hope this message finds you well. I am humbly seeking financial assistance to help me to continue my medication and undergo the necessary tests as I fight leukemia and colon cancer.
I have been in and out of hospitals and clinics, and my resources are currently very limited. My hemoglobin is down to 4, and my platelets to 30. The doctor just confirmed that I have leukemia.
And once again, I am terrified.
But this time, my fear isn’t just for myself. I am afraid to leave my family, and my friends. I can’t bear to see my Titas looking at me like this or hear the pain in my Mama and Papa’s voices because of what I’m going through.
Even though I’m going through all this, surprisingly, I’m still at peace. Maybe it’s because of the people who have never left my side—Mama, Papa, Tita Donna, Tita Edna, Ate Guada, and Cee.
You’ve been with me since day one. Thank you and I love you all.
I’m sharing this because, one, I realize that the old people saying is true—"HEALTH IS WEALTH". And two, I am seeking your prayers for healing. Please include me in your prayers and any money you can donate to help me pay my hospital bills is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely and grateful for your prayers and support,
Kristen
Update:
She is back and confined in the hospital for the 4th time. She has is confirmed that besides battling colon cancer that she also has Leukemia. The impression is that her cancer cells are aggressive. She has Colon Cancer stage IIIA since 2023 but did not undergo chemo. She had multiple admissions due to her condition and now her condition is getting worse.
She is starting to lose her eyesight & while they are still studying her case, they continue the blood transfusion and continue giving her platelets. They are still studying her case trying to figure out the best way to help her.
She really needs our prayers to encourage her in this very difficult time of her life and financial assistance because she can't afford to pay her expensive medical bills. Kristen thanks you for your prayers and financial support. She sees God through people like you and our prayer is that God will heal her so she can use it to share God's testimony of healing in her life.
We would like to thank the doctor and all our family and friends who are helping and supporting her. Any donation will help. No big or small but any money you can give from your heart is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for helping my cousin. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. Praying for her and sending her any money will help her get better so she can get another chance to be healthy and to be able to praise God. Thank you so much and let us always "Come to Jesus" Daily and thank him for all of his blessings in our lives.
Kristen, our entire family and I wants to thank you!
