Help Kris and Family Overcome Financial Hardship

Hey, it's Kris Batdorf. Right now, I need some help.

At the beginning of the year, we found out my dad had lung cancer. He was dying, and he was living with me, so Devon " my son" and Willow " my 15 yr old daughter "I wound up being his caregivers. The worse he got, I had to miss work to stay with him and look after him. Devon was still working, but it began to put me in a financial bind.

Dad died in July, which left us to come up with Dad's part of the bills and rent. Before this happened, where we were working, business was slowing down, and we started getting fewer hours. We went from 40 or so a week to maybe 15-18 hours a week. So, we decided we needed to pick up a second job, which we did.

During this, I was dealing with my own health issues, and not having insurance I dont really have the money to pay for dr appointments and medication, so theres meds that havent had in several months, so during all this we were let go from both jobs and havent had a paycheck since September.

We've been struggling to take care of bills and rent, and I have medication I have to get. I'm looking for work, but I'm trying to keep a roof over me, Devon, and Willow's heads and take care of what needs to be taken care of until we go back to work.

I desperately need some help. I've never done this before, and I'm not real big or real good at asking for help, but I kinda have to. I dont really know what to do I've held down a job since I was old enough to work, on more than 1 occasion I had more than 1 job, so not working or having a job is something I'm not used to, and having to do this or relying on other people's generosity isnt normally how I handle things, but I'm desperately in need of help, I'm tryin to keep from being evicted and keep a roof over our heads, and pay light bills and water bills, and Christmas is coming, i just need help until we can get new jobs, any help or donations would be greatly appreciated and would help and mean so much.
