<div>---I am Stacey and I've known Kreig for over 9 years now, first as a client and eventually working with Abbe and Kreig as a community liaison for their online magazine, Tru Rock Revival Magazine. Since that first introduction to Kreig, he's become one of my closest and dearest friends.

<div>I was referred to Kreig by my modeling agency to begin fitness training with him when he still lived in South Florida. He was (and is) an incredibly talented fitness trainer. He's not just a fitness trainer, he's an extremely knowledgeable kinesiologist, exercise physiologist and fitness trainer. He is very modest and is very shy about discussing his accomplishments. He is known throughout the country and outside the country for his expertise in Parkinson's fitness training. But, aside from his profession, more importantly, he's an incredible friend, not only to me but to so many others. His fitness training knowledge is second to none and his generosity when it comes to his clients, friends and strangers is what really makes him stand out above the rest.

<div>Since I've known Kreig, he has gone above and beyond to help so many people that he's come in contact with. For years, he volunteered for the National Parkinson's Foundation and United Cerebral Palsy. Kreig also has a passion for rock music and is the founder of on-line rock n' roll magazine, Tru Rock Revival. Tru Rock interviews some of the top names in the rock music industry each month and also promotes new, upcoming bands in the community, free of charge, that can't afford to pay for promotions. In Asheville, he is the co-founder of Day of Rock Festivals and organizes and promotes rock music festivals to raise funds for charities such as the Children's Hope Alliance of Asheville.

<div>Kreig often takes time away from his family to help others in need. At times when he was struggling financially to support his own family, I've personally witnessed him training people for free if they were in dire need of his help but could not afford to pay him. I once asked him why he would do that when his family should come first. His response was, "Fortunately, I have my health and if I can help someone whose health is failing and they can't afford to pay me, I can't turn them away. Everyone deserves to have help and good health regardless of their ability to pay." That is who Kreig is.

<div>Over the past few years, I've seen Kreig struggling at times with what he was told was asthma. He's gone to many physicians for their help and he was able to receive moderate relief. Over the years, I, along with many of his other clients and friends have seen him struggling to get 2 or 3 words out while trying to breathe but rarely missed a day of work. Fitness is his passion and his clients become an extension of his family. This is a guy who was a highly-ranked collegiate wrestler and has always lived the fitness lifestyle, until very recently.

<div>A few weeks ago, Kreig caught a cold, which is very rare for him. In all the years I've known him, I've never really witnessed him getting sick. He seemed to have the immune system of a bull. But, this time, this cold really set him back. For nearly 3 weeks, he could not shake it. He was COVID tested over 6 times, all negative. Then, after a very difficult day with uncontrolled coughing, he went to an urgent care center. It was not a cold. A chest x-ray showed a very large spot on the outside of his right lung. He was told to seek further medical care at a hospital. After a very thorough examination and several tests at a local hospital, he was told the spot was an area of coagulated blood vessels that had probably burst from all of the coughing. He was treated for that and told he would be fine. About a week later, his cough returned with a vengeance and he went to see a highly respected Pulmonologist. After many scans and other tests, he was told he had a type of lung disease known as Interstitial Pulmonary Myositis, which his physician said probably started several years ago. Without immediate treatment, this would become Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is often terminal. With medical intervention, the outlook is very positive. However, the course of treatment is 16 to 20 months of very expensive medication at a cost of over $7000 per month. His insurance company is only covering 2 months of the medicine that he needs. The drug manufacturer will lower the cost to $5200 per month.

<div>I have set up this Gofundme to hopefully raise enough money to cover the cost of the medication he will need over the next 16 to 20 months. Please donate what you can and please share this with everyone you know. Kreig needs all of our help. He has a wife and twin 12 year old children at home and 2 young adult children. We want to see Kreig become a grandfather one day.
