<div>Update: after going to the pet hospital we found out that kovu has bladder stones and possibly something ( maybe string) caught in his intestines bunching them together. The vet gave us special food to try and help with the stones over the next 30 days. But there is a high possibility he will need surgery. All of the money raised here is going to go to that procedure. Thank you all so much.

<div>So, everyone who knows me knows Kovu. He's my orange, 10-year-old sweet kitty, and over the past 2 days, he's gotten increasingly more sick. It started with vomiting Sunday night that got worse into yesterday. He can't even keep down water and has just given up on eating or drinking altogether. We've had one vet visit already where they told us it could be something physical in his stomach or an infection. <strong>And if we can't figure it out and get him treatment, he will die.</strong> But we'd need to do a lot of blood work and X-rays and possibly medications and surgery, and I honestly just don't have the amount of money it would cost. I've spent the whole night sleeping on the bathroom floor with him because I'm afraid of leaving him alone. And today, he just seems so tired. He's not moving around and just laying under a blanket on his little kitty bed. <strong>Kovu means the entire world to me</strong>, and I know everyone who has met him loves him completely. Anything anyone could donate would help. And I know he would appreciate it more than anything because I know he has a lot more years in him.
