A close friend of mine, Koaussi Konan, who lives in Abidjan, is currently a victim of the extremely difficult job landscape in Côte d'Ivoire. He has job certifications but his employers regularly can't make payroll and contracts are not honored -- and his 3 children's school fees are due, not to mention their supplies, etc. We were roommates and have stayed close for 23 years. I support him from time to time and will continue to do so.
