I am the grandma to Kona (Beautiful and a total sweetheart)my son’s dog. We had a family vacation. Had a caretaker at the house with the dogs and father that has early stages of dementia. Somehow my dad let the dog out she jumped the tall fence and got very badly injured on a hit and run. Shattered her upper leg in half causing a major surgery and recovery. The cost is 8k with a recovery expected to last around 12 weeks hoping first and only surgery. My son put on care credit. I would like to somehow help lower the burden of this bill.
