HELP KOBY BE A PUPPY AGAIN

Koby has had a ruff start in life. A 6 month old pup should have no worries but fetching sticks and playing with his friends. 

Unfortunately this hasn’t been the case for Koby

At just 4 months old we noticed he was swaying and bunny hoping in his back legs. Soon after he developed a terrible limp on his front leg.
X rays confirmed Bi-lateral Hip dysplasia but found nothing in his lame front leg. 

Koby was then referred to a expert in Swindon where a CT Scan was done and they found bi-lateral elbow dysplasia plus anill fitting ulna.

On the 4th of January Koby is having both Elbows operated on to remove the bone fragments and the right elbow is being shaved down to allow the ulna to fit properly into the joint. After recovery he should be pain free on his front end. At the moment we are not operating on his hips. 

As you can imagine, after this year of Covid and as such me being unemployed. It’s a massive financial nightmare. My other dog Cinnamon has just finished 6 monthsof chemo for her lymphoma costing £7000. The insurance refused to pay for any ofthis and we have already exhausted all our resources. 

Luckily the insurance has offered to help
for some but not all of the treatment. There is still thousands of pounds of medical bills to be paid.
