HELP KOBE-He was hit by Unlicensed speeding driver

Hi I'm Tyler, Kobe's dad. Monday July 5th Kobe was hit by a speeding and unlicensed driver while he was visiting my parents with me in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Miraculously, the team at Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County was able to save his life, and he has since been transfered to speciaslists to save his legs.

From the hit Kobe most seriously suffered internal bleeding, a pneumothorax, a partially ruptured diaphragm, numerous lacerations, a displaced right hip and degloving and severing of all the ligaments in his left ankle. While the work done on him and the recovery he has already begun has been nothing short of a miracle, the costs incurred have been astornomical and everything has been required up front before any work could be done, leaving myself and those closest to Kobe (who have also helped more than I could've imagined) beyond our means financially. But there is still a long and costly journey ahead, as Kobe will need expensive surgery to save his legs. Please help us to continue getting Kobe the care he needs to return to being the happiest, most energetic and loving puppy. As his Dad I'm going to do everything to make sure he gets back to normal. Kobe and I do EVERYTHING together. He has been under my feet since he was 7 weeks old and will just be turning 2 this month. I'm so lucky that I had ammassed a little bit of savings in the short time since I finsihed college and moved with Kobe to Key West, where Kobe undounbetdley has the best endurance of any doggo, as we can be seen on our runs around the island almost daily. He is my support system just as much as I am his! Please share and support Kobe!
