HELP KNUCKLE BUMP FARMS REBUILD

Hi everyone! This is something I never saw myself doing, as I am not one to ask for help. However, I receive countless messages daily from people asking how they can support the farm. So, here goes nothing:

As many of you know, KBF was hit very hard by Avian Influenza that was brought in by wild geese. The outbreak began shortly after Hurricane Ian, and was directly correlated to the excess standing water. It spread very quickly. We lost a majority of our flock, over 50 birds within 4 days, and have been caring for Emmanuel around the clock since October.

We have racked up thousands of dollars in vet bills since this journey of healing Emmanuel began. We have been sleeping in the barn next to him for over 60 days. This has been the most challenging experience of our lives, but we would do it 1000x over if it meant saving him. He went from being unable to hold his head up, to being able to stand on his own and take steps unassisted.

Our ultimate goal is to purchase our own land and build our dream facilities that are properly enclosed to keep wild birds from entering. It is also a dream of ours to eventually be open to the public, and allow visitors to come to our farm for animal therapy. We see our farm being a place that any and all can come to seek comfort and experience the love and joy of animals. No matter your age, sexuality, gender or ethnicity. We have so many goals, all of which included giving back to our local community and all of YOU!
