<div>I'm KK and am in need of help more now than ever! I'm not one to ask for help but rather give it. My mother, now 76, was diagnosed with dementia in 2017, but I didn't know until 2020. I've been on disability since 2010. She unknowingly got us both in quite a mess with her decision-making at that time in 2020.

<div><strong>I sold my home that I'd lived in, raised my child in and eventually inherited so she could keep her house to become a home again</strong> and so she'd be in her own comfortable surroundings that she was in for over 50 years. She did quit wandering off unlike living in my home. The house needed/needs a full remodel. It hadn't had any work in over 30 years. In her agitated state, she decided to go for a "ride" as she called it with a family member, and he never brought her back! He exploited her physically, financially, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually! He had her secluded, lied to her, was hitting her, stole her money, as well as destroyed and stole her vehicle, which he has now been charged with.

<div>APS was NO help; in fact, made things MUCH worse! Because of his location, locked gate, and private property signs, the police weren't able to do welfare checks, so they say! This went on for 9 months! I have been denied by crime victims for almost 5 years. I have notebooks of proof of all he did! I can't find any grants or anyone willing to do pro bono work. I lost my car when she had to be placed in a facility in 2024. It took all of the money from the sale of my home minus having the roof replaced, ac/heat unit, and new hot water heater to have her deemed incompetent and buy her back like a piece of property to get her back home and out of an abusive situation.

<div>The house is paid for. I cannot afford to move. I cannot afford a car. I cannot get a loan, and if I could, I wouldn't be able to make the payments with my disability income. I cannot move forward with my life. My own livelihood was taken from me. For almost 5 years, I've lived out of one room. I've explored all options available. <strong>This IS my last resort.</strong> I could use help with donations/pro bono work/donated vehicle so I can go visit her and hopefully try to retain some kind of side job.

<div>The house needs sheetrock, paint, ceiling repair, electrical, plumbing; the back bathroom is completely molded and will have to be gutted as well as the mold has grown into the wood. Some rotted wood needs to be replaced. The bay window floods the driveway. It could certainly use foundation repair, but it can continue to go without that if need be. I have everything needed to make it a home again.
