Help K&K Recover From Loss of Home

Just two days ago I took this photo of my sister Kelly, brother-in-law Kyle and sweet nephew Owen. Kelly and Kyle were leaving for a well-deserved date night while I would watch their son for the evening. Unbeknownst to us all, their home would be devastated and burned to the ground in the Thomas Fire in Ventura County, located in Southern CA.
Around midnight on Monday, they were told to evacuate with only a few minutes to grab essentials. Little did they know, it would be the last time they’d see their home standing. Thankfully all are safe but they have lost everything.

This was their first house they purchased as a new family. I watched as they hand-painted the walls, made remodels, decorated, cut down bushes and planted new flowers together in their garden. Throughout the course of this past year they turned a house into their beautiful home. It is heartbreaking knowing that the yard their son loved to play in & the only home he's ever known is now in ashes.
