Hello all,
This is Kittifer Lopez. The 10 year old love of my life.
He was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. Our first option, was to take two pills a day for the rest of his life. It would help regulate his thyroid and eventually get all things back to normal, meaning less vomiting, and more weight gain! However, the prescribed medication did not sit well with him. He became very lethargic, had no appetite, and when we went back to the vet they informed us that he had a heart arrhythmia. He has been taken off the medication, but there is one more option for him! Radioactive Iodine injection. It is a permanent treatment for his thyroid, and our last option for him to continue to live a happy, healthy, and LONG life!
All of the money raised will be going to the Blood panels, urinalysis, chest x-rays, and the Iodine Treatment along with follow up medications.
We are trying to get the treatment done as soon as possible to prevent any further health complications that could pop up.
If any of you know me, you know how much my Kittifer means to me. He has been with me for almost 10 years, and I will do anything to have him for 10 more.
