Help Kingwood/HTX Flood Survivors

My name is Jane Sheeran. I live in Kingwood TX (NE Houston) with my 3 sons and my husband, Patrick.  Along with being a wife and a mother, I am also a social worker.  Helping others is what I thrive upon.  I am originally from a small town in NE Kansas.  The entire Houston area was affected by devastating flood from Hurricane Harvey.  My town and neighborhood suffered from this disaster.  The community has come together to help tremendously, but there are still so many basic needs not being met, for thousands of people in my town of Kingwood and nearby communities. Kansas is full of amazing people that are begging to help!  There are many other friends and family of mine in other states that want to help as well. I am providing a direct opportunity for anyone in other states and areas who are wanting to help (but feel helpless).  Your donations will help with immediate survival needs for the local survivors of Hurricane Harvey. I will buy and deliver all donations (specifically toiletries, baby necessities, under garments, medical supplies, paper goods, and any other emergent necessities) to a local long term shelter at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, TX.  Some of the funds will also be used to help provide drinks, hot meals and supplies like sunscreen, towels, etc. to workers and survivors rebuilding after the flooding recedes. I will provide pictures of all receipts and purchased goods. Any individual families that are brought to my attention with specific immediate needs to help get them back into their homes will benefit from your donation as well. This is a way for you to directly see what is purchased and where your donations are going.  Any extra funds will be given to St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood, TX.   There are many other avenues to donate to help.  I just want to help with one avenue for people who are asking.  THANK YOU for your donations!  and THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers as we begin a long recovery from this tragic event. ❤️
