My daughter Kimaya is about to graduate from high school and is preparing to start her first year of college. She has worked incredibly hard and has been awarded several scholarships, which we are so grateful for. However, as we get closer to her move-in date, we’ve realized there are still a number of expenses that scholarships don’t cover—like enrollment fees, housing deposits, and all the supplies she’ll need for her dorm and classes.
