Help Kim and Charles beat Harvey

Hurricane Harvey hit Houston hard and was a record breaking storm. Normally prepared for everything and well known for planning his travel clients without a problem, Kim found out days prior to Harvey  that his flood insurance policy didn't self renew along with all the other home policies.

The storm came and more than 18" of water flooded their home destroying everything.



Kim and Charles have a spirit that won't die and have already started removing debris and furnishings to prevent mold, but the house is not worth saving. Unfazed they plan to rebuild and go on.



I'm Jim from Michigan and have been a client of Kim's for almost 10 years. I know what a  giving and generous  couple he and Charles are and I want to return the kindness I have received from others by helping them during this time of crisis.  

Several years ago my basement flooded and I received support from friends and family. This helped me get through the shock and immense work needed in a short period of time to get ahead of mold and unsafe conditions.

Expenses will be great -- everything from mortgage payments to food, shelter, clothing, furniture. Even in this time of difficulty for them, Charles and Kim are donating what wasn't destroyed to Houston shelters.  The home will eventually be raized, but they are working at drying it out and are donating it to neighbors that can't find storage for the next few months.  

I hope  those of you who are thinking of ways to help will take this opportunity to pitch in any way you are able, but let's face it, they need money.
