Help Kiara Get Back on the Road for Her Children
Kiara Shivers is a devoted single mother of three—including a precious newborn just six weeks old. Every day, she puts her children first, working hard at a local daycare to provide for them with love, strength, and determination. Recently, Kiara made a major sacrifice: she emptied her entire life savings to purchase a van to safely transport her children.
But just weeks after purchasing the vehicle from Carters Auto Sales LLC on Rockingham Road in Davenport, IA, the van completely broke down. A mechanic confirmed what Kiara feared—the van is a lemon, and the necessary repairs will cost over $5,000.
Despite her pleas for help, Carters Auto Sales has refused to offer any repairs, trade-in options, or support of any kind. And because Iowa’s lemon laws do not cover used car purchases, Kiara has nowhere to turn for legal protection.
Now, with no transportation, Kiara can’t get to work, and her ability to support her children is at serious risk.
This is not just unfair—it’s heartbreaking.
We’re asking for your help to raise the funds needed to repair the van and get Kiara back on the road. Every dollar brings her closer to being able to return to work and continue providing for her family.
Please consider donating, sharing, or spreading the word. Let’s show Kiara—and her babies—that her community sees her, stands with her, and wants to lift her up.
❤️ Every act of kindness makes a difference. Thank you.
