Help Kiana Study Abroad in France!

Dear Friends & Family,

 

I have recently been accepted to a study abroad program in France and Italy this May! The name of the program is Comparative Healthcare Between the U.S., France, and Italy, where we would be learning about the different healthcare systems in these three countries and why France and Italy have such highly ranked healthcare systems. This is extremely relevant to my future professional plans of becoming a doctor. I would have the opportunity to visit hospitals and other healthcare facilities in France and Italy as well as meet with various healthcare professionals. I am very excited about this opportunity! I have never been abroad before, and it is my dream to go to France. Unfortunately, the cost of this program is very high, and I cannot afford to participate in this program without financial assistance to help me pay for the cost of the program, including tuition, housing, and meals, as well as airfare. I am applying for scholarships to help offset the costs, but I do not hear back from them until April, and the no-penalty withdrawal deadline is March 13, which is in three weeks. I would like to try to raise as much money as I can before then so I can decide whether I need to withdraw.
