Help Khristy and Her Family Through This Difficult Time
I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter and son-in-law, who urgently need support. Over the past month, their lives have been turned upside down by a sudden health crisis and unexpected job loss.
A Health Crisis with No Clear Answers
On February 28, 2025, Khristy suffered the first of ten seizures. Within days, she was hospitalized twice, placed on heavy anti-seizure medication, and left struggling with balance, coordination, and constant fatigue. A short EEG provided no answers, and doctors recommended a full three-day EEG to help determine the cause. Unfortunately, the earliest neurologist appointment isn’t until June 26, though her primary care doctor is trying to find a sooner opening.
Until she’s medically cleared, Khristy can’t return to work or even apply for new jobs — and because she’s unable to work, she doesn’t qualify for unemployment.
A Heartbreaking Job Loss
On March 10 — just a short couple of weeks before she was tentatively to be released back to work by her doctor — Khristy received a devastating call. Due to a company-wide restructuring, her position was eliminated effective immediately. She’d been with the company for nearly five years, earning promotions and praise for her hard work. Losing her job while facing a serious medical crisis has been crushing mentally and financially.
Why They Need Your Help
With mounting medical bills, household expenses, and income reduced by more than half, Khristy and her husband are facing a financial crisis. The full extent of their costs is still unknown, but the weight of it all is overwhelming.
I humbly ask for any support — whether it’s donating, sharing this link, or keeping them in your prayers. Your kindness means the world to our family and offers a glimmer of hope in these dark times. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has reached out. Your support is deeply appreciated.
