<div>Just within the last 48 hours, my brother-in-law, Kevin Morefield, received the most unimaginable news. You’ve heard the phrase, “My life has been turned upside down” — that is exactly what they are experiencing right now.

<div>After a routine annual wellness check, Kevin’s primary doctor detected a heart murmur. He was referred to a cardiologist who ordered an ultrasound this past Monday. Since then, things have moved quickly — he’s undergone multiple tests, including CAT scans and an angiogram. The results have led to a serious diagnosis: Kevin needs major open-heart surgery.

<div>His surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17th.

<div>As Kevin and Halee try to process this life-altering news while keeping their home and family life afloat, I wanted to step in and offer a way to help ease some of the financial burden. The medical bills have already started coming in, with many more to follow.

<div>Kevin is expected to be hospitalized for about five days, including two days in the ICU. After returning home, he will be unable to drive for at least two weeks. During his time in ICU, we want Halee to be able to stay close by without the added worry of finances and day-to-day expenses.
